The state of my garden
Jun. 25th, 2020 12:46 pmFor multiple reasons I started paying more attention to my garden this April. There was a lot of chatter on the webz about growing your own vegetables, sowing bee friendly plants, letting manicured lawn grow wild.
Looking at my garden now is so uplifting, theres always something new growing. Quite a lot of wildflowers have appeared and I like looking them up online and finding out about them.
Most recently this little gem appeared
.
This is Prunella vulgaris, or self-heal. If you are a herbalist, this plant is very handy, with lots of uses (pfaf.org/user/plant.aspx). As a general heal-all, this plant is good for what ails ya.
I've been fooling around with dreamwidth for 3 hours now, figuring out how to upload images etc. I'm not sure I like it yet.
