I like to make things. My medium of choice is fibre, I mostly knit, though I can crochet, embroider, crossstitch, basic weaving etc.
This past month I've knit a shawl for my mother-in-law, a baby Jedi robe, sewn an apron and I've started a jumper for my newest nephew.

The next knitting project(s) are a cardigan for my elder clone because her current favourite singer wore it. Thankfully I got the pattern online, now to get it knit before she stops liking the artist!

Then I want to crochet a big wool blanket to a) use up all the random balls I have, b) free up space for better yarn, and c) to have blankets that both my clones can take with them when they move out.

And I think I'd like a jumper like this for me.

I`m not sure why I never learned to knit properly. My mom used to knit a lot when we were kids. You couldn`t get a lot of things when you needed them in Eastern Germany so that was the easiest way. But apart from a one year phase in which I made rectangular potholders for all my relatives, I never knitted when I was young.
Since then I have knitted 2 things:
1) a huge blanket from thick synthetic yarn which I use all the time
2) a pair of wrist warmers with a hole for the thumb
Both items were basically just straight rows.

I have never learned to read a pattern, the anglophones knit the other way round and somehow therefore knitting anything more complex than rectangles looks awfully difficult.
